GEWISS presents the 2025 Sustainability Report 

GEWISS has released its 2025 Sustainability Report, reaffirming its commitment to an increasingly innovative, integrated, and sustainability-driven industrial model. Prepared on a voluntary basis and inspired by the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), while maintaining alignment with GRI principles, the document provides a comprehensive account of the results achieved between January 1 and December 31, 2025, across the key dimensions of People, Processes, and Products.

GEWISS continues to strengthen its international footprint, consolidating its position as a leading player in energy management and protection, electric mobility, building automation, and smart lighting. In 2025, the reorganization of the Lighting Business Unit was completed with the integration of Beghelli into the Group, alongside the strategic alignment with Performance iN Lighting and Tvilight, enhancing the coherence and breadth of its offering.

In 2025, GEWISS further improved its environmental performance through targeted efficiency initiatives. These actions delivered a reduction of 204 MWh, in addition to the 1,410 MWh achieved in 2024, resulting in an overall decrease of approximately 2.4% in total consumption and a reduction of around 52 tCO₂e.
 

The share of renewable energy also increased. Today, 35% of the Group’s production sites are equipped with photovoltaic systems, contributing to the coverage of electricity needs and enabling a reduction of approximately 305 tCO₂e. At the same time, self-generated renewable energy rose by 41% compared to 2024.
 

Waste management performance remains strong, with 93% of total waste classified as non-hazardous. The Group also continues to assess the environmental impact of its products throughout their lifecycle, obtaining 4 new Product Environmental Profile (PEP Ecopassport®) certifications, bringing the total number of certified product codes up by 9.6%.

As of December 31, 2025, GEWISS employs 3,297 people, marking a 49% increase compared to the previous year and reflecting a strengthened organizational structure. Permanent contracts account for 96.8% of the workforce, while female representation has reached 40%. Training hours exceeded 29,000, confirming a strong focus on continuous skills development. Workplace safety remained a central priority throughout the year, supported by a preventive approach and the ongoing enhancement of dedicated processes and tools.
 

The Group also advanced its supply chain sustainability assessment through an internationally recognized rating system, enabling structured monitoring of suppliers’ ESG performance and fostering greater transparency, accountability, and alignment with sustainability objectives across the entire value chain.
 

In addition, two corporate volunteering initiatives were carried out during the year. The GEWISS Experience Center - the company’s experiential hub showcasing its technological solutions - hosted over 150 events, engaging around 3,000 participants and strengthening relationships with stakeholders and local communities.

In 2025, GEWISS achieved 3 new certifications, confirming its commitment to internationally recognized management systems:

• ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety (GEWISS Deutschland);
• ISO 14001 for environmental management (GEWISS Deutschland);
• ISO 20121 for sustainable event management (Gewiss Experience Center).

No cases of corruption were recorded during the reporting period, reflecting a robust and transparent governance framework.

The 2025 Sustainability Report marks another step in an ongoing journey, in which sustainability continues to act as a key enabler of industrial and organizational decisions. This commitment translates into the Group’s ability to anticipate future challenges, generate long-term shared value, and contribute actively to the transformation of the contexts in which it operates.
