GEWISS obtains an Italian

patent for its 44 CE junction boxes

GEWISS has recently obtained the patent no. 102023000022260 from the Italian Patent and Trademark Office, covering the innovative solution applied to its 44 CE junction boxes. The patent protects the introduction of specific technical features on the bottom of the box, designed to facilitate fastening using non-manual tools, such as nail guns. This functional configuration improves on-site installation speed and ensures even more accurate and reliable assembly.

The 44 CE junction boxes cover a wide range of installation needs thanks to eleven available sizes, ordinary or high-capacity bases, different types of lids and Halogen-Free materials. The versions with quick-entry cable glands ensure that the IP rating is maintained even with cables inserted, while sizes from 190×140 mm upwards are equipped with a practical hinged lid featuring a spherical-head screw, also suitable for sealing.

The granting of the patent highlights the engineering approach underlying the range, which combines structural robustness, ergonomics and attention to the daily work of installers.
