We are pleased to present the new GEWISS DACH cluster to you. It was founded in early 2023 and includes both the GEWISS and Performance iN Lighting brands.

From June 1st, 2023, it will be managed by Joachim See as the new General Manager. The competent industry expert brings with him in-depth experience from managerial positions in sales, marketing, and product management at Schneider Electric and Mennekes. In 2022 he joined GEWISS Germany as Head of Marketing.

“Over the past four months I’ve been acting ad interim as General Manager and now I’m very glad to hand over the helm to Joachim, who has demonstrated strategic thinking and strong leadership skills. In addition, he proactively supported the integration process with Performance iN Lighting in Germany from day one,” says Paolo Cervini, CEO of GEWISS.

In his role as General Manager of the DACH cluster, Joachim See will be responsible for the sustainable development of GEWISS and Performance iN Lighting in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. At the same time, he is responsible for the management of GEWISS Germany and for the management of marketing and product management in the entire cluster.

Also from June 1st, 2023, Ralf Bellscheidt will assume full responsibility for the GEWISS sales organization in Germany as the new General Sales Manager.

Konstantinos Liapis has been the new Managing Director of Performance iN Lighting GmbH since March 1st, 2023. He has been with the company in various positions for many years. From 2003 to 2010 he was responsible for sales for southern Bavaria as area sales manager at SPITTLER Lichttechnik, before taking over overall sales for both SPITTLER and Performance iN Lighting as manager and authorized signatory. Thus, the appointment as managing director of PIL Germany was a natural development. He will use his expertise to further drive the growth and success of the brand.

Sales responsibility for GEWISS and Performance iN Lighting in Austria and Switzerland lies with Fabrizio Bertolo (Country Leader – Austria & Switzerland), who is working hard to successfully position our products in these markets.

GEWISS and Performance iN Lighting operate four locations in Germany and employ over 200 people. Ottfingen and Goslar are our two production sites in Germany. Since acquiring the SCHUPA brand more than 20 years ago, Ottfingen has been the production site for GEWISS relay technology. Goslar, on the other hand, has been the competence center of the GEWISS Group for indoor lighting since the end of 2022. The production site of the Performance in Lighting brand (formerly known as SPITTLER brand) has been offering first-class indoor lighting solutions for more than 30 years.
