GEWISS took center stage at Light + Building 2026 in Frankfurt, the world’s leading platform for building and smart lighting. On this occasion, the Group unveiled its integrated vision for the future of intelligent, safe, and efficient infrastructures, reaffirming its leadership as a technology partner for the development of sustainable buildings and cities.
At Messe Frankfurt, the Group showcased its innovations across three distinct stands, featuring the brands GEWISS, BEGHELLI, PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING, TVILIGHT, and THINKNX, highlighting a coordinated offering that spans from electrical installation to smart energy management, professional lighting, smart buildings, electric mobility, and advanced urban infrastructure control.
Among the solutions on display were also those of VDA Telkonet, an Italian multinational and a global leader in Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS) for the hospitality sector. An investment agreement has been finalized, enabling GEWISS to acquire a stake in VDA Telkonet, with the transaction set to lead to control of the group within the first half of the year.
One of the highlights of the event was the launch of GEWISS LightZone, the new strategic ecosystem that integrates BEGHELLI, PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING, and TVILIGHT into a coordinated industrial hub while preserving and enhancing the identity of each brand within a shared vision. GEWISS LightZone was conceived as an integrated space combining technology, design, sustainability, safety, connectivity, and human well-being, core elements of the Group’s lighting offering. More than just a brand aggregator, GEWISS LightZone positions itself as a strategic partner for designers, installers, distributors, and end customers throughout the entire project lifecycle, providing complete, connected, and innovation-driven solutions.
Light + Building 2026 also offered a valuable opportunity for direct dialogue with stakeholders, clients, and industry professionals, fostering the exchange of expertise, vision, and collaboration opportunities. The integrated approach presented by the Group demonstrates its ability to deliver complementary solutions that support all stages of infrastructure development, from design and implementation to ongoing management.
The Group’s participation in the fair reinforces GEWISS’s commitment to driving the transformation of infrastructures, combining technological innovation, digitalization, and energy efficiency, while placing sustainability, industrial value, and quality of spaces at the center for people, communities, and the cities of the future.
