Energy Distribution Boards Training Day: building the future of energy

Technical training, international collaboration, real-world exchange: on May 27 and 28, 2025, the GEWISS Experience Center in Cenate Sotto, Bergamo, hosted the Training Day on distribution boards, promoted by the GEWISS Academy in collaboration with the Energy Business Unit.

The two-day program brought together 38 participants: 19 from Italy and 19 colleagues from various European countries - North East Europe and West Europe - alongside corporate figures from the Academy, Commercial Excellence and BU Energy teams. It was a diverse group in terms of roles, regions and backgrounds, united by a shared goal: to deepen their understanding of GEWISS solutions for safe, smart and integrated energy management.

The training was structured into classroom sessions and hands-on product workshops, providing a comprehensive overview of key topics such as reading electrical diagrams, distribution board configuration, value proposition of the product range and advanced use of the PROJEX design and quotation software for low-voltage systems.

Beyond the technical content, the event also fostered open dialogue between colleagues from different geographical areas and company functions, each contributing their own perspectives, needs and expertise. This constructive exchange not only enriched the participants' skill sets, but also strengthened team spirit in an increasingly interconnected international context.

With initiatives like this, GEWISS reaffirms the strategic importance of training as a driver of innovation, shared growth and informed responses to the challenges of a constantly evolving market.
