The Campus della Salute of the University of Pavia is an avant-garde facility of thirteen thousand square meters entirely dedicated to the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, which has 22 undergraduate courses (from Medicine to Dentistry, from Exercise Science to Health Professions), 48 specialization schools, 7 doctoral courses, 44 master's and postgraduate courses.
The new hub, located in Viale Golgi, is located in the former pavilion of the San Matteo Hospital Medical Clinics, and has 16 teaching rooms (36 to 240 seats, for a total of 2100 seats), 12 study rooms (260 total seats on the two floors), 4 computerized classrooms, a 200,000-volume library, and 3 laboratories for simulated teaching with brand new equipment that will enable students to carry out highly innovative practical exercises.
The electrical and lighting system of the facility has been entirely realized with GEWISS solutions: from indoor and outdoor lighting, taken care of with the ELIA, Smart[3] and ESALITE Series, to building automation, managed with the Home&Building PRO system, to the domestic ranges for the electrical and fiber optic systems, covered by the CHORUSMART ecosystem solutions.
