As part of EXPO 2015, the futuristic Palazzo Italia building was fully equipped with an integrated GEWISS system. The technical element of the system features CVX cabinets, a Domo Center, junction boxes and modular devices. The white GEO and LUX plates serve as the surface-mounted controls, and the lighting system, too, bears the GEWISS brand, with modern Smart [4] and Street [O3] floodlights, featuring led technology for superb light quality and low operating costs.

City of Giubiasco

Lighting an urban street means much more than simply adding light to an environment. Lighting needs to maximise safety and offer high efficiency to real communities where diverse social realities coexist. In the Swiss fraction of Giubiasco, near Bellinzona, GEWISS Road [5] street lighting offers a tailored street lighting system, providing light when, where and how it is needed. All this, while achieving significant energy and economic savings for the local community.

Sir John Deane's Sixth Form College needed to improve existing lighting levels throughout the campus, in particular in car parks, bus stops, and public walkways. The lighting was outdated and giving off poor light levels, and this project provided the opportunity to switch from SON lamps to more energy efficient LED lighting.
