Punto Scarpe of Albino (BG), among the largest retailers of shoes, clothing and accessories for the men, women and children of Bergamo, chose energy efficient lighting and ‘Made in Italy’ GEWISS products to illuminate its own store of over 2500 square meters. For the relamping installation, Punto Scarpe used 453 GEWISS devices (Smart [3], Smart [4] and Urban [O3]), which allowed them to improve the quality of the light by increasing the lighting level to the values required by the current legislation on lighting in the workplace - and optimize the color rendering necessary to enhance the products displayed in the sales areas.

In the retailer’s storage area, over 40% of energy consumption is attributable to lighting. Elettrica Cordani has been operating since 1991 in the distribution of electrical equipment and its premises extend over 6000 square metres, with 400 square metres dedicated to sales, the same area for administrative and commercial offices and over 3500 square metres for warehousing.
