In the Marketing team of the corporate BU BUILDING contributes to the growth of the Building Business ensuring the development of new products / services, and takes care of the lifecycle management for the reference area of the building portfolio, focused on smart home and building solutions.
- Market analysis: ensures the monitoring of market size, competitors and positioning with both an overall and country by country view; reaches an in-depth knowledge of the customer needs, the competition and the reference market, together with the analysis of technological trends, with the aim to identify opportunities for new products/services or business models, verifying the impact in terms of growth, profitability and customer satisfaction. Cooperates with local marketing teams for a continuous and faster analysis, and at the same time ensures a close relationship with the markets, visiting customers, and participating to tradeshows, webinars and associations;
- Product Management: ensures the marketing planning for the products/services of its reference area in collaboration with the Solution Marketing Manager, proposing a clear and differentiating value proposition and its target stakeholders, and contributing to a continuous improvement of the portfolio; supports the development of the new products/services defining functional specifications together with the Product Specialist, positioning and target marginality, to provide inputs to the R&D, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain Departments, and contributing to create the project’s;
- Business Plan; cooperates with the Commercial Excellence, Strategic Marketing and Cluster Marketing to create and coordinate the launch plan, respecting the scheduled timing and budget; promotes the integration of all phases related to the product/service development, from the concept, to the launch, in close collaboration with PMO and all the other functions involved.
- Product lifecycle management: manages the lifecycle of products/services for the reference area, monitoring the business performances and ensuring the compliance with the roadmap for the target areas; manages the consistency with the target positioning, defining and monitoring the marketing mix, and promoting the
implementation of corrective actions together with the other departments; manages the reference offer, suggesting the phase out of products/services at the end of their lifecycle.
At least 4/5 years of experience in the role in companies of the building industry, preferably with an international organization and approach, and knowledge of building systems and protocols; knowledge of product development processes management in collaboration with R&D, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain; marketing skills, being able to drive a go-to-market plan and the marketing mix definition.
Knowledge of digital services and business models for the reference area is preferred. We are looking for a professional with strong networking abilities, relationships and influencing skills, pragmatism, and passion for sustainability.
