The tourist port of Sperlonga in Italy features a harbour based on a typical design for land-enclosed seas, such as the Mediterranean. The port was built around 1960 for the benefit of local fishermen and leisure boats. Over the years, leisure tourism has become ever more popular, thanks to the quality of the water, the beauty of the coastline and the proximity to the Pontine islands. As part of a recent enlargement and refurbishment of the port, GEWISS’ 68 Q-MC range was installed to supply power safely to each mooring. GEWISS’ pedestals ensure visitors benefit from superior services and comfort, in visual harmony with the elegance and beauty of the surrounding scenery.
The 68 Q-MC range is the innovative energy and services distribution system for environments such as tourist ports, campsites and public spaces (trade fairs, markets, gardens, etc.) that combines an attractive design with total reliability that is maintained over time thanks to its resistance to chemicals and atmospheric agents. The terminals are available both in AISI 316L stainless steel and in thermoplastic material, in blue, white or green colours. The range includes both pre-wired and empty versions, which can be configured as needed.
Designed to welcome visitors to the park and families looking to experience a unique and unforgettable adventure, the Gardaland Adventure Hotel combines the fantastical, dreamlike dimension of the journey with attention to every detail.
This attention to detail is shared by GEWISS, and accordingly, the company succeeded in satisfying each and every system requirement, guaranteeing high performance standards and an elegant aesthetic.
In addition to the chorus domestic range for commanding and controlling the lights and the main enclosure services, GEWISS also installed a number of modular devices and industrial plug and socket-outlet systems for the technical areas and kitchens at the Gardaland Adventure Hotel.
Lastly, the latest-generation led devices from the astrid range were chosen to illuminate walkways and passage areas, combining high levels of performance with significant reductions in energy consumption.
The integrated GEWISS electrical system is at the heart of the famous Ghisallo Museum and is vital to its function, serving both the indoor spaces and the areas outside the museum.
As well as providing devices for building automation, GEWISS was also chosen to install boards, electrical cabinets and distribution terminals, flush and surface mounting enclosures, miniature circuit breakers and residual current circuit breakers, interlocked switched socket outlets, universal socket-outlets, plates and command switches, rain and wind sensors, light and temperature-sensitive probes, junction boxes and pliable conduits.
GEWISS also provided a host of lighting solutions, both for emergency applications and to enhance the architectural details of the museum.
Technology, complete product offer and design: this is what GEWISS can deliver for marinas, harbours and boat owners. A complete and unique offering to meet any need of pleasure boaters - with distribution pillars for energy and utilities - and to light indoor and outdoor marine premises the best way possible.
