The Miroglio Group M2LOG logistics centre hubs in Pollenzo (CN) have been subject to a significant overhaul, with a view to improving their energy efficiency. The company wanted its superior standards to be extended to the lighting system for the areas through which more than 20 million items of clothing are transported on an annual basis. The project implemented by GEWISS in response to this request saw the installation of 3,000 Smart [4] devices in place of the 3,400 fluorescent lamps that had been fitted previously. As a result, energy consumption was slashed by 50%, or over 260,000 kWh per year.
